Contrave is an FDA-approved prescription medication for chronic weight management. It combines two medicines (bupropion and naltrexone) to help reduce appetite and control cravings, especially for high-calorie or comfort foods. At Jahan’s Wellness Lounge, Contrave is used as part of a comprehensive weight loss plan that can include nutrition guidance, activity support, and mindset coaching. Benefits may include: Reduced hunger and fewer cravings Support with emotional or stress eating Help with long-term weight management Who may qualify: Adults with a BMI ≥ 30, or Adults with a BMI ≥ 27 with weight-related conditions (such as high blood pressure, diabetes, or high cholesterol) Contrave is not right for everyone and has important safety considerations, including interactions with certain medications and mental health history.
